Sometimes, you could be mislead into thinking that you know about Italian cuisine just because you eat at those Italian restaurants. The reason for this is because more than 90% of Italian restaurants do not really pass as genuine. So you are probably eating at those American-Italian restaurants that may serve Italian dishes but taste otherwise. You have been eating so many Americanized Italian dishes that you do not really know how Italian spaghetti really tastes like.
